Department of Transportation DOT/SAP Services

Revive BHS provides federally compliant DOT SAP evaluations under 49 CFR Part 40 for safety-sensitive employees in transportation, logistics, and commercial driving. Our Clinical Director is a DOT-qualified Substance Abuse Professional and NRC SAE, with experience serving CDL drivers, transit workers, pipeline employees, and maritime personnel.

  • Initial SAP evaluation following a DOT drug or alcohol violation

  • Evidence-based treatment and education recommendations

  • Follow-up evaluation to determine return-to-duty eligibility

  • Follow-up testing plan development and compliance monitoring

  • Coordination with employers, TPAs, and MROs

  • Same-week availability; timely report turnaround

Alcohol & Drug Education Programs (ADEP)

Revive BHS offers a Maryland COMAR-aligned 12-Hour Alcohol and Drug Education Program (ADEP) designed for individuals with impaired-driving violations and others referred by courts, the MVA, or probation officers. A 26-hour program is also available for higher-level referrals.

  • Self-paced online format with structured, evidence-based curriculum

  • Covers neurobiology of addiction, impaired driving law, decision-making, and recovery tools

  • Grounded in ACT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches

  • Certificate of completion issued upon finishing all lessons and assessments

  • Accepted by Maryland courts, MVA, and legal/probation professionals
